Risk Analysis and Threat Assessment
A Risk Analysis is the process in which we review all of the potential risks that an organization may face. From natural disasters, potential/higher-probability accidents, acts of terrorism, or prolonged power outages to individual risk, such as harassment or stalking, domestic violence that threatens a safe work environment, workplace violence, kidnapping, or active shooters, we determine the risks that can harmfully impact an organization’s resources or cause a prolonged disruption of operations.

A Threat Assessment is typically performed when evidence is presented that has increased the probability that a violent act may occur. At that point, we quickly perform an evaluation of the circumstances to determine the credibility of the threat. We then work with both internal and external resources to implement procedures that will reduce and/or eliminate the likelihood of the threat being realized.

Emergency Response and Management of Operations
We work to identify a company’s readiness to respond to an emergency in a coordinated, timely, and effective manner.

We develop policies and procedures to help form an initial response to an incident and work with our clients to aide in the subsequent stabilization. The developments of plans, training employees, facilitating scenario exercises, and conducting audits are all instrumental in ensuring a company is continuously prepared to effectively manage a crisis situation.

Training and Education
Executing tactical action plans is only as good as those who are called upon to implement it. Therefore, a considerable part of our business is training. We place an enormous amount of emphasis on “human resiliency” and believe proper training can ensure that employees are prepared and protected. Furthermore, knowing that a company’s employees are prepared, allows for a safer and more productive work environment.

We work closely with our clients to ensure employees receive the proper training to manage their role effectively in the event of an emergency or crisis, as well as perform well during periodic audits of all emergency procedures.

Our training workshops include:

– Basic and Advanced Threat Assessment and Management
– Threat Assessment Team Development and Training
– Pathway to Violence
– Critical Incident Stress Management
– Identifying Red Flags; a Precursor to Violent Behavior
– Crisis Management: What to Expect, How to Respond
– Situational Awareness
– Family and Child Safety
– Predatory Behavior

Business Continuity Management
Business Continuity (BC) is a holistic management process that builds upon the identification of risks, threats, impacts and responses from an organization and provides a framework for building resistance with the capability for an effective response that safeguards the continued operations of an organization.

The primary objective of Business Continuity Management (BCM) is to allow an organization to continue operations under adverse conditions by introducing appropriate strategies, recovery objectives, operational risk management considerations, crisis management plans and procedures to aid employee emotional conditions (such as Acute Stress Disorder or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)

Legal Compliance and Certification Requirements
One of the most tedious aspects of emergency preparedness is understanding the laws and requirements of a given company, industry, or location. We take the pressure off our clients by researching all laws and governing organizations to ensure that our clients meet/exceed and maintain all legal requirements and operate in full compliance.
Background Screening
As an ancillary service, eA can provide comprehensive background checks on potential employees or individuals of concern. This provides our clients with detailed state and federal criminal history, as well as location verification, historical employment verification, and other critical data that if often needed to effectively carry out a threat assessment.
